Free upgrade to 360 - Yet I appear to be being charged?

I received an email to say I could get a free upgrade to Virgin 360, because my equipment was old. I currently pay £48 a month. I followed the instructions to order the remote and instructions to upgrade.

Now the upgrade has gone through your system, I have received an email saying my new monthly bundle cost is £73.25?! If this is what a free remote control and upgrade actually costs me, I am not interested thanks.
