I received a email from F-secure saying....
"You recently added F-Secure SAFE to your Virgin Media account but you haven't yet registered and installed it."
Will I be charged from Virgin or F-secure? Do I need to cancel it? I don't want their service.
I wasn't aware that F-Secure was being activated without customers registering for it.
If it's been added to your account you will have a free subscription for 12 months (worth £79.99), protecting up to five devices.
There is a section for F-Secure within MyVirginMedia account onlinesecurity toolkit
Within that section is a button which normally has to be pressed to activate the F-Secure.
I'm not sure if this has changed but in the past you could cancel it by the following method:-
Log in to My F-Secure.
On the My F-Secure page, select Subscription in the top bar.
Under Current subscription, select Cancel your subscription.
This cancels the auto-renewal feature. Your subscription remains valid and active until your current subscription expires.
