and to @mightyoakbob - speaking to offshore can be pointless as you have found out - they say they can fix anything - you know the result

you dont have to ask to be put through to retentions - they dont make it easy but its perfectly possible - you should get a UK agent if not try again

dial 150 or 0345 454 1111 and follow the prompts to - 'thinking of leaving us' - then "technical issues" - dont worry about that they do much more - open 8am -10pm 7 days a week - should take you to a UK call centre

Thank you for your message.

I gave up trying to understand my bill 6 months ago, it makes zero sense to me and does not match the agreement. Plus, when VM people tell me to ignore the email I get each month (which is double the agreed price) and tell me the discount applies after the email is sent - how do I make any sense of that? This has gone on month after month, I've lost count (must be at least 10) agents who have told me they have fixed it and I'll be billed what was agreed, just ignore the email.

The final insult is they have now taken the double figure from my account.

Is this grounds to walk away from VM without penalty?

This just goes on and on and on month after month.

I was promised a refund because VM took double out of my account but of course the refund did not happen.

This has been going on since last August.

I am so absolutely livid with Virgin over this fiasco.
