I've just moved house and transferred of my broadband to the new address, without any change of services.
I made the request via chat and got told nothing would change about the contract. There have been no changes to my account except for my address.
My original contract ended years ago but now I have found out I have been entered into a new contract, something I was explicitly told would not happen.
I did not consent to extending my contract, how can I sort this out?

Sorry to hear you have had an unwanted change to your package since your house move. We can understand the frustration caused and want to best help. Typically your packages should not be affected by the house move if you are transferring services https://www.virginmedia.com/help/moving-home. I am however sending you a private message to look into this. Please look out for the purple envelope and provide a response when you can.
