I can understand your reluctance to call and cancel due to incorrect information being stated on your contract.
Unfortunately though the Forum Team don't have access to the systems to cancel your contract.
You can either write in and explain the situation, or telephone and explain it to the team.
As you say, the notes explaining the contract length are annotated to your account, so there shouldn't be any problems
You can call 150 from a Virgin landline or mobile, or 0345 454 1111 from any other phone, but best to call between 8am and 10am to avoid call queues, or late afternoon around tea time
Or write to them to as per the terms and conditions. If writing send it by registered post.
