Hi there @Duane1

We are so sorry to hear that you have faced this issue with your credit file and thank you again for your post.

Just to clarify, do you have an outstanding bill that needs to be paid? If so, we are not able to take payments via the forums but you can speak to the collections team on 0345 142 4444.

A default is a record of an unpaid debt, that by paying it you admit was correct and that you were late in settling. The default will remain on your credit file and be marked as settled

If you genuinely believe the debt is incorrect, then the process to have it removed is to send supporting evidence to who will investigate and respond on a 28day basis.
