I don't think this will help much, but a few years ago this happened to us, exactly the same thing. Our daughter got in touch with us saying the TV and broadband had gone off, we were in Australia on holiday at the time, but I guessed what had happened as we had a gardener removing a tree stump for us. I got in touch with VM on their helpline (phone) explained to them and they came out within a few days and reconnected everything. It worked out well and they never even charged us. However, that was few years ago now and with Covid messing everything up, I'm not sure how they would react today. Sorry, but maybe extra data on your phone and crap Free-to-air TV for a while.
