I received a phone call from Virginmedia today. The man on the line was hard to understand (no doubt the worked both ways to be fair). To cut a long story short, he signed me up to a new service called Home Works. I specifically said I didn't want my bill to increase but when I got the confirmatory email it had substantially increased. Also the content of the service didn't bear much similarity to the conversation I had previously had with him. Needless to say, I immediately rang Virginmedia and asked for the change to be cancelled immediately and my account restored to the position it was in prior to his original phone call. I was promised that it would but I am fast losing any confidence I ever had in the Company.
