I have a reduced contract which I pay £12.50 because I’m out off work and on universal credit, virgin have informed me that my contract is due to end within 30 days and I will be put on a different contract which could charge me more.
does anyone know if this will happen or they will keep to the reduced payment plan I’m on and continue it.
many thanks
tony.

My understanding is that Virgin Media will check every 12 months and ask you to prove again that you are still on Universal Credit. If you do prove, you continue at the low price. If not, your price would be increased.

Also check out the different offers for customers on UC. The £12.50 offer has a miserable 15 Mbps speed, and unless you really never notice the painfully slow speeds you might be better off on one of the Essential Broadband Plus contracts.

Hi @Anthony91
Thanks for posting and welcome to the community.
Sorry for the confusion, that would relate to the original offer (the end of contract notification), and like Ernie_C says (thank you) we'd review the Universal Credit offer every 12 months
Best wishes,

Hi,
I’ve signed up for broadband and to but still in contract with sky. I can get to speak to anyone from sky or virgin?
