Contract renewal

Hi, ive just rang up today to arrange a new contract after my old one ran out. The woman was very helpful and i was able to keep my original pricing. Since coming off the phone a couple of hours ago ive not recieved any email or changes in my virgin media app about the new contract and was wondering, is this normal? I really dont want to spend another couple of hours on the phone so is there another way to check that the changes have been noted?
