Contract not updated in my account

My current broadband and tv package including sky sports is due to end on 18 Aug.  I accepted a new deal over the phone on 24 July and this was added to my account.  However, I went into my offers in My Virgin Media account on 26 July and there was an offer there for my package at a cheaper price.  So I accepted this and submitted.  I received an email stating my new package price.  However, when I checked my account my contract hasn't updated.  I tried phoning the call centre but they couldn't help. Does this mean the deal hasn't been accepted?

Thank you for your post and welcome to the community. 

I'm very sorry for any issues you've had with getting the contract you want. 

If you have accepted a deal for renewal, that would have needed to be cancelled before you can select a different one. 

I have taken a look on our side and I can see you have spoken with the team regarding this. 

Did they confirm that there is no way to get your the deal you saw via your online account?
