Contract issues

About a month ago I called the sales team to notify them that my contract is running out, and that I wanted a new one, a contract was agreed and we were told that a confirmation email will be sent shortly, however we didn't receive anything,  and over the past month we contacted the sales team multiple times and again and again we were promised a contract (which was already agreed on) and a confirmation email, but they never sent anything, and now our contract has ended and they have taken £50.50 from my account and the contract that was agreed was only supposed to cost around half of what they have charged me, so now I'm just contemplating whether to change ISP or not, and I want this fixed very soon.
