Contract Renewal

I have been a customer for some years and my contract ends next month. The current bills shows the price rising significantly and I needed to resolve this.

A week ago I got through after multiple attempts and long waits and spoke with someone who offered me a contract extension at a price I accepted.

But nothing has happened since. I usually get a new contract e mailed but nothing this time. Possibly as you are not sending e mails under the present circumstances.

I tried to ring again without success (long hold, cut off).

I understand the real difficulties you have right now so I tried to engage on here last night with a helpful staff member. But she must have gone off duty and I never got an answer.

All I need someone to do is affirm the new details are in your system and you just cannot send me an e mail contract at the moment.

I assume if this went through your system last Monday that should be easy to check by PM to me Then I have no need to pester you as I am sure you are all overworked.

Hope someone can help.

Login to my virgin media

 

choose bills

 

choose “contract”

 

you will be able to see new and existing contracts in there 👍🏼

Thank you. I did that several times last week (and just checked again t be sure). 

It only shows my existing contract - which is still valid until June. 

There is no mention of the one I agreed to take over from that next month

Instead future bills show from net month the higher amount due when out of the current contract. 

I know that Virgin are not probably sending out e mails updating contracts.  But I imagined they would do so on that page here. 

This is why I have been trying to get a moderator to look at the Virgin data base since Friday. 

If they could just confirm the deal I agreed us showing there and will come into effect in June replacing the amount shown as being due from then I will be happy and leave them to get on with their heavy workload.

If any moderator reading this can do that and just PM - yes - a new deal is showing as taking over next month - I will be happy.

I got this far with someone on Friday and after my PM reply they never got back to me. 

Hopefully, you can help me out. 

Sorry to be a nuisance as I know you must all be so busy.

Just to confirm the new package/contract takes effect from the 10/06/2020

You will receive this by email and letter around that date

Just to add I have received an e mail from Virgin just now. 

It sends me LAST year's contract. Showing it running out in June and with the price rose due then. 

Same one as is still on this site.

No mention of the new deal. 

Not very encouraging to receive that after your post - but hopefully the new one you refer to will turn up.

Sometime.
