My contract with Virgin finished in mid June 2020, and the price to continue goes from £37 per month to £67.
Obviously, I want a better deal with another provider (I've gone back to BT - much better), but cannot contact Virgin to tell them I no longer want their service.
I've cancelled my direct debit but have since had an invoice for the new amount.
What can I do?
You need to give 30 days notice to cancel.
You could try the text messaging service.
Just send a text with a description of cancellations to 07533 051809. Your message will go into a queue and a representative will respond to you as soon as possible. It may take a few days.
You can also call 150 from your Virgin Media phone or 0345 454 1111, but best to call at 8am to avoid call queues.
