Confused about my final bill & early cancellation fee

A few weeks ago I called Virgin to cancel my 12 month TV, phone & broadband contract at £55 a month. It was due to expire on February 10th but I am now moving out on December 14th. I understand there will be a separate cancellation fee applied for early termination.

However, I am concerned that my most recent bill, for £55, says: "Your package for the next period covers 11 December - 10 January". Does this mean that, leaving aside the one-off cancellation fee, I must still pay for the full month of 11 Dec to 10 Jan even though my service now ends on Dec 14th? I was under the impression I would be charged only for 11 to 14 December and would then pay a separate cancellation fee on the day that I move out.

Also, where in my Virgin Media account can I see the full summary of the cancellation fee I must pay, and on which date it will be paid?

Thanks!

Re: Confused about my final bill & early cancellation fee

In a cancellation situation, billing continues as normal until the cancellation is actually complete. Any credit for the overpaid period is added to the final bill.
