Concerning - Wrong amount taken from my Direct Debit

On our wavelength

I'm not happy to say the least. This could potentially if not quickly resolved affect my credit rating.

My usual DD payment has been £39.99, for some reason unknown to me VM only took £37.99 last month. Which truthfully i hadn't noticed. Until i received the most recent bill via email today, which included the following statement.

Owed from last month: £2.00 Your previous bill was not settled in full. Action is required by you to clear this amount immediately, further delay may result in your services being suspended.

I've seen others on here have posted similar messages over the last month or so. What are Virginmedia doing to rectify this, and will they notify the credit reference agencies of any faults that have occurred to avoid my and indeed any other customers affected, having their credit rating negatively impacted.

Hey scotty2, thank you for reaching out and I am sorry to hear this.

If you have paid the £2 it wouldn't affect your rating if you it has been added to the file once this has been paid we would get it removed within 21 working days.

We are sorry for any trouble caused. Cheers
