Coming to the end of my contract...

Hello

My contract is coming to an end in a couple of weeks.

I notice that there is currently an offer for the 'Bigger bundle + Sports and Movies' at £79 per month for 18 months.

Can I transfer to this contract please?

Most of the good offers are "new customers only", so although I haven't seen the detail, the answer is probably "No".

This post may be useful reading.  If you're after TV packages as well, then you'll need to either ignore the "smaller ISP" comments, or mix'n'match a Sky content package with the smaller ISP phone and broadband, and likewise the "downgrade" aspects.  But hopefully you'll see how to play this game.

If you are taking the prices from the Virginmedia website they are for only new customers, as a current customer you will need to re-negotiate your contract.

With regards to re-negotiation of contract I am afraid they cannot be dealt with in the forum.

Due to the current situation there is a text message only service is available via: 07533051809 Just send a text with the issue you are facing and someone will get back to you as soon as they can. Please bear in mind at this time this service does also have a high load and may take quite some time getting back to you. You can also call in on 150 or 0345 454 1111 best times to call are first thing in the morning, use the option "Thinking of leaving", but again wait times my be long.

I was under the impression that the practice of offering new customers deals and excluding existing customers was being 'reviewed' by the regulators?  Perhaps I dreamt it, or that it doesn't apply to the provision of TV and Broadband?
