I closed my virgin account on the 30 September 2020 but I am still able to log into my virgin media account and still receiving emails as this is still active.
Can I ask why have the not been deactivated.

Your email would remain active for an additional 90 days after cancelling, If you would like for me to confirm your account is closed, let us know and I'll send you a private message.
Yes please if you would, I can still log into my Virgin Media account as well as my email as i am still receiving emails although there nearly all spam.
