Charged 50 Quid for Tune Up I never Asked For or Was Informed About!!!!

Why have I been hit with a £50 charge for a tune up I was never informed about or asked for? I posted on here a few days ago about by broadband connection and WiFi connection being poor as hell, was told to PM info to a mod who'd look into it. At no point was I told I'd be charged 50 bloody quid for you lot to get off your arse and fix my connection, something you should be doing as part of the service for free!

vm do not charge for faults. What does the bill say the charge is for

Marty20. I also sent a PM to them at the same time as my initial post. I am seriously **bleep** off. I can barely afford to pay my bill as it currently stands. An additional 50 quid for something I never asked nor wanted is downright scandalous. If this doesn't get sorted I'll be cancelling the Direct Debit, and only paying what I actually owe minus their 50 quid BS. Followed by a complaint to Ofcom.

Got the 50 quid thing sorted, but to add insult to injury, my connection is back to being a nearly a third of the download speed and a quarter of the upload speed I'm paying for again. For less than 48 hours it was 180 meg+ down and 17+ up.

ok - lets start again - is the speedtest wired or wireless

log into hub3 - 192.168.0.1 [or 192.168.100.1 if in modem mode] - DON'T SIGN IN, click - click router status [centre of screen] - and post the downstream and upstream figures - to see those press on the grey buttons/boxes labeled - upstream - downstream

if its an earlier hub button is top right
