Changing direct debit, asked me to pay, I did, doesn't show

I'm trying to change my direct debit details.
 
The site told me I had to make a payment first, so I made the payment using my credit card (more than 12 hours ago).
 
The payment has been collected, and I've received an email receipt from Virgin.
 
However this still doesn't show in my account and it still says I must pay.
 
Is this a common occurrence?
