Is there any way of changing my direct debit date currently without ringing and clogging up the call centres? I've tried the text message service but don't seem to get a reply. Online only appears to be able to change the bank account it comes from.
Think you need to call in. But here is a tip that I use...
Create a new bank account. Set all your Bills to go format hat account When you get paid transfer all the money you need for all your bills into that account. No need to worry about the bills or dates then
That's right. with the volume of work VM have it'll take sometime for a response. In the scheme of things this is not an emergency request which would have priority in the queue. Try to be patient, you will get a reply. If you phone you'll be even more disappointed.

I did get a reply to my text, at the end of it they said that for security I'd have do it through the website or use the app. Well the website is what sent me to text and the app...it opens the website at the same set of pages that tell you to text. Why cannot I do something as simple as change the date through the website??? Unbelievable.
Hi. I need help with this too. Been trying to get hold of someone at Virgin for the last 2 months now with no joy. Now my new bill has come through and I can't pay it on that date anymore, as my pay date has changed. Please help!!
