Cannot register for my Virgin media

I cannot register for My Virgin Media. I enter my name, account number and area code and get a message saying I have entered incorrect details. I have tried to use the messaging service for help but waiting more than an hour for a reply seems long enough to me.

Sorry to hear that you're having issues with creating your online account and trying to get the help that you needed from the team. The messaging service can take upto 4 hours for an agent to pick up your message.

 

I have been able to locate your account and would need for you to pass account security via a private message, so that we can go over what details you have used and try to get this resolved.

Sorry I should have updated this. I managed to get an answer to my message after waiting two hours. My name had been spelled wrong (how you can spell Smith wrong is beyond me though)

Anyway it has been corrected now and I have been able to register
