I know this has been asked before but no solution seems to be available.
I had to change my VirginMedia username as my Virgin email address seems to be linked to my email account only and can't be used as my VirginMedia username. (This, although Virgin always use that email address to send me information about my VirginMedia services.) I changed it to a Hotmail address I have. Virgin then sent an email with a link to confirm my username but the link takes me to a page saying
'Sorry, we can't confirm your username
Sorry, but we're having a few technical problems, and we can't confirm your username at the moment. We're working on it, so please try again later.'
This has been going on for months. I can't access my account until this is sorted. I'd be grateful for any advice on how to resolve this.
