My 86 year old dad had a Virgin sales person turn up on his doorstep and despite already having broadband with another company, ended up being convinced to sign up to Virgin broadband. I can only say that whoever the salesperson was, they should be ashamed of themselves, as should Virgin media. This smacks of preying on the elderly. Anyway, my dad rang up to cancel on 8th February and was told that it would be cancelled, but has had no written confirmation of this. At the moment he is still within the 14 day cool off period as per the 'contract' - installation was scheduled for 1st March 2023.
