Cancelling account

I called VM last weekend to give 30 days notice of cancelling my account. I spoke to Mark in “disconnections” who told me I should get an email confirmation & my last day with VM would be 17th November. So far I haven’t received any email regarding this & I really don’t want to spend even more time trying to get through to customer services. Can anyone advise please?
