Cancelling Broadband 2021

Hello,

We are coming to an end of our Broadband contract on the 15th Feb 2021 and so we are trying to cancel now but cannot get through on the phone as it keeps telling us the call centres are closed due to Corona Virus. I will send a letter tomorrow but have read conflicting stories on the forum on whether writing to Virgin even works and they say it will started from when they receive the letter not when it is sent so what stops them from not opening it until it's inside the 30 days? We have ordered a return package for our Virgin router and will send it back as soon as it arrives.

We just want to cancel our Broadband in a simple way and even though the internet has been good we won't be using Virgin again purely on their cancellation policies. 

Any help on what we can do would be great.

Call 0345 454 1111 bewteen 8-10am tomorrow selecting options 1-1-4-4.

That should get you to cancellations department.

10 year's managing 9 Virgin Media accounts, and things never got any better, closed last 4 accounts since January 2021 :L
