Cancelled by post but not had reply

Hi

I wonder if anyone here can help me or give me some information 

I sent a registered letter to cancel my services and I have a snapshot of the receipt that was signed for at Virginmedia (Nottingham)

Is it usual not to have a reply , I just thought I might get an d-mail to say my cancellation has been accepted and the date my services will end 

Or will it goes end inn30 days and then get final bill 

if my final bill is made after my service goes off I won’t be able to see it as I won’t have an account to log into 

please advise if you can

Hi 

I sent a letter by registered post which I am able to see was signed for 

What will happen now please 

Will my services just automatically discount 30 days from the date my letter was received 

It’s just that I haven’t received a reply and it’s 2 weeks since I sent the letter

Regarding the answer, we do advance billing so in the 30 day notice period given, you're likely to see a final bill that has dates on it when the account no longer active. After the disconnection date happens, then a few days later, you'll get a final statement for the period from when disconnection happened-end of the final bill date, this will be a refund via cheque upto 35 days after disconnection
