My house tenancy is ending on 4th August and I have to cancel the contract. I tried contacting online chat, waited an hour and someone finally replied but says they'll have to pass me to the moving department and waited 2 more hours and the bot says they are off work now and have gotten no reply. Can someone help me cancel it?

I'm afraid that the forum team can't process home moves, cancellations or regrades.

Have you tried using the online messenger service during normal office hours on the following page?

https://www.virginmedia.com/help/moving-home 

You can also call either 150 from a VM landline or mobile, or 0345 454 1111 from any other phone, call around 8am if possible when lines first open and are least busy.

There's also the text service on 0753 305 1809 or speak to the team on WhatsApp on 0730 532 7112 but phone calls take priority and these methods can take 4 to 6 hours.
