Dear Virgin i have been trying to contact you for days unsuccessfully , i need to discuss moving home with you and closing my account , please do not ask me to use your web site as i have tried various times and get nowhere .

It may well actually be faster than trying to get through by phone, Virgin may not write back confirming, but should act on a cancellation notice sent that way & signed by the account holder.
