Cancellation issue! (HELP)

I have been calling Virgin Media for over 3 weeks now. I stay on the line for over two hours and then it ends up cutting off. I have decided to leave after being with Virgin Media for over 10 years, How do I cancel if I am not able to get in touch with them? I am not in the contract and I have sent a text message to their message service but no reply yet. Please advise on what to do.
