I've phoned to cancel my Virgin media package this morning within the 14 day cooling off period, and I haven't received any confirmation email. I've logged in to my VM account and it doesn't look as if anything has changed. I know it hasn't been long since I cancelled, but I'm a bit concerned in case it hasn't been done, as today is the last day I can cancel within the 14 day cooling off period.
Is there any chance of someone being able to confirm that this has gone through please?
I don't believe Virgin send out confirmation emails.
Just to clarify - I also was promised such an email (twice) but never received a confirmation.
Instead I received three follow-up phone calls (with offers to stay) - seeing as these were from different people I verbally confirmed the cancellation date - which proved correct, at the same time I was told that confirmation emails aren't sent.
I suspect you will also get follow-up calls, just double-check with these people.
