Cancellation confirmation request

hello,

I ordered a product from Virgin media with the contract agreed start last 27th October. However the contract was never delivered and despite promises of being contacted this never happened, therefore I sent a signed letter to VM requesting to cancel it.

I have the signature from Royal Mail thus I assume the contract is cancelled however I am expecting VM to confirm as well as the web still says the contract is on.

Can any admin assist me?

Thanks for the post Msml and welcome to our community.

 

Have you received an email confirmation since your post? After we receive the letter it may take 2 weeks of processing but it will then be cancelled.

I have not received any confirmation from Virgin Media about my cancellation, however I have a record that the company has received my cancellation request.

2 weeks are now due, and my contract is still on. This breaks any consumer laws and seems pretty illegal to me.

Thanks for using the forums to get this issue with your contract looked into, I am sorry if this has been causing some frustration. I would be more than happy to look into this for you, can I just ask if this contract was for Media services or was it a handset Loan contract?

The contract was for a broadband which VM never delivered, this more than frustration seems a scam to be honest.
