Tried the comical 'chat bot' for two hours this evening, they (it?) signed-off at 9pm for a rest! If there was only one reason to leave VM then that would be it. Outrageous treatment of a time-served customer.

If you simply wish to cancel, with no further negotiation or discussion with VM …

You can cancel your services by post as per info below

Use a first-class, signed-for delivery service. This will give you a date/time of delivery when you gave VM your 30 days’ notice to cancel. Also keep a record of the tracking number.

If you cancel during a minimum term period VM may charge you early disconnection fees.

Thanks for the responses. Posted last night out of frustration. Finally got through to a person this morning and cancelled, just now waiting for the confirmation email. I will write and post a back-up letter if the email is not received within 48hrs.

Well I got my cancellation email today but confirming that only my phone services have been cancelled. How is it possible to get this so wrong?

Have just completed Ofcom form, thanks, and sent letter to VM. Will try and call them again later.
