Cancel contract from abroad

Hi VM, I am selling my house, have moved out and currently leaving abroad and would like to cancel my contract with VM. I have spoken on the phone with someone but the line dropped. I haven't been called back. Is there any other way to cancel the contract?

Re: Cancel contract from abroad

Hi jmf,

There are currently 3 methods you can use to cancel your  contract.

You could try the text messaging service.

A) Just send  a text with a description of cancellation  to 07533 051809. Your message will go into a queue and a representative will respond to you as soon as possible. It may take a few days

B) You can also call  150 from a Virgin landline, or 0345 454 1111, freephone number 0800 052 0422 ( not sure if/how this works from abroad) but best to call at 8am to avoid call queues

C) write to them to as per the terms and conditions. If writing send it by registered post, or the equivalent from where you are located.

Virgin Media Sales Operation Support, Diamond Plaza, Daleside Road, Nottingham, Nottinghamshire, NG2 3GG;

If you are still in contract there may be some early cancellation fees

There may also be charges for non return of equipment which are indicated here  Non return of equipment charges

And this page indicates the equipment that needs returning return-or-recycle-equipment
