Can’t register virgin media account

Hi I am currently trying to register my virgin media account and getting the following message below,

 

 

Sorry!

We are not able to set up your my Virgin Media account at the moment. Please try again later, or you can also set up your my Virgin Media account at the time of your broadband installation. We are looking forward to connecting you to your superfast broadband.

Questions about your broadband installation?

 
 
I have tried to register my account on numerous devices but still the same issue.
 
looking to see if you can assist?

Sorry to hear that you have not been able to register, have you been able to get this sorted since your post? If not, can you confirm the following:

  • The email address has not been used before for another active  or recently disconnected account
  • The email address does not have special characters like # or ~
  • There is no popup/adblockers or VPNs active at the time of your registration.

Yes I am still having an issue trying to register the account, The email I have used before doesn't contain any special characters and also hasn't been used before on an previous account.

Hi chris, no the login email I am trying to register with hasnt been but the email my contract came to has been on another account previously.

Hi Iain,

 

Apologies if you hadn't received a message, I can see that it was indeed sent so I'm not too sure why you haven't got it on your end.

 

I'll be happy to look into this for you instead - can I first just check please that your services have been installed? Sometimes this message can occur when customers try to sign up before their services have been installed 🙂

Ah - that will be the reason why then 🙂

 

Once your services have been installed, please try registering your My Virgin Media account again and you should have no issues.

 

If you need anything else at all or have any further problems just give us a shout.
