Can't register for online account

Hi, 

I have been with Virgin Media for over a year. I am trying to register my account online however it tells me I have the wrong details when I try. I called the week before last and they said they would get IT to sort the issue and come back to me however I have not received a response. 

Please can you help?

Hi Sefina, thanks for the message and sorry to hear that you are having issues with the online account. Can you confirm if you are having issues with the service or still need assistance with this? Was the email address on an old account all? Has the account been transferred to a new address? ^Chris

Thank you for responding! 
I am still unable to register online for my account. It was transferred from my old flat mates name to mine around 2 years ago.
