Cable surfaced in garden

Hi, the cable has surfaced from underground in my front garden. It has been like it for a while. I did report it but was told it wasn’t an emergency! The whole system is not as responsive just lately. I am concerned as it’s the connection on the cable that gets all the weather.

There have been numerous mentions on the forums about exposed VM cables just recently. VM's responses have been very mixed.

Generally seems they might offer to tidy them up for you or might offer to do more with them of they are a risk to health and safety.

Posting up some pictures can sometimes help explain what the problem is and what you want done about it. It allows the VM forum staff to see what the issues are.

Outcomes on this seem to vary significantly!

Posting in the 'Tech Chatter' forum is unlikely to get a response from the official VM forum team. Your query would be best placed in the 'Managing Your Account - Cable' forum where VM staff do respond.

Someone might move this topic over there for you.
