Broadband bill

Hi,

can anyone propose what I should do when customer services promise to do something, but don’t do it?

Upgraded me to 200mb for an agreed £30 per month, then told me it had gone through at £50 pm, but said don’t worry will set up a rolling credit for £20 to offset.

this has not been done.

have spoken to Philippines many times, hrs holding. Have two chat conversations screenshot saying it has been done.

my bill is still not corrected though.

Yes tried that. No response.

 

my next bill, for more than double what it should be is due to be taken by dd on 12th, I will have to cancel dd if not resolved beforehand. I refuse to let VM take too much money from me. Judging by experience thus far, trying to get it back will be impossible.

.... this is the problem isn’t it. Follow the steps/options they give you. Nothing happens.

if you cancel the DD it will just create a debt and they will suspend the services and put a black mark on your credit file. So don't do that. you need to pay it and go through the complaints process.

Need some useful assistance rather than textbook VM, which is floored.

customer services are liars, I can prove this by virtue of screenshotted evidence.

Why should I let them take money that I can’t afford to lose? To then fight to get it back? With such a sub par customer services dept that may not even respond, or worse just lie to me about it....

If they suspend the service I’ll go back to sky. They won’t get another penny from me at least.
