Bill payment

Hi all, I paid my broadband bill online today, my first attempt I recieved a on screen message telling me the 'quick pay' service wasn't working and to try again, which I did and the payment went through. I checked my bank account straight afterwards to find that the payment has been taken twice, I've frozen my card but can anyone advise my next step please, thanks in advance

Hi,

Freezing the card will just stop future payments probably not those made.

You can try contacting  Live Chat on the Web site or you can send texts to this number 07533 051809 with details of the issue. Might take a while for a response but might be quicker than the other options. They may be able to issue refund, or if it was on credit card your bank may be able to stop double payment.

The worst, probably, that can happen if both payments go through is you will be in credit.
