I understand virgin media have closed some customer care hubs in line with lockdown restrictions, so there are less people to answer the phones..however..I am a nurse who is already stressed with working during a pandemic. I am moving to a new house that already contains existing virgin media customer and so wish to cancel my current account with them. I have tried multiple times to get through on the phone - twice I was on hold for over an hour, spoke to a person who put me through to another department, to then be on hold for another hour and then to be disconnected. Other occasions - 2 hours on hold and no one answers. You are making this situation so stressful, when I am already a stressed NHS worker. I just want to cancel. This is appalling service
