Annoying problem??

I've just tried to upgrade my Virgin package for no extra cost and been told I've to have a credit check. 

I was even offered a £50 credit if I took it up but because I'd have to be checked I declined signing up and thinking of going elsewhere in January when my contract expires

So  I've missed out on the offer and Virgin could be losing a customer

Thank you for reaching out to us in our community, I am sorry to hear you are not happy to do a credit check,

 

If this is one of our new oomph deal the credit check will be because it come with a sim deal, this isn't Virgins decision to carry out the credit check this is part of the responsible lending policy.

 

Any other company you go to would also need to run a credit check.
