Hi. I am in a very confused situation and really want help!!! Virgin Media helpline has been useless despite of multiple long hours calls (kept me jumping from department to department).
Situation: I got Virgin Broadband £30 (initial 6 months half price) broadband package, and after 1.5 months, I moved to a new address. I called them to move my broadband to a new address, on which they made my new contract (as the area codes were different). They ensured me that my bill will remain £30 (and asked me to ignore the price mentioned on the new contract). Later on, when I got the email of my first bill, I noticed that the price is still the same i.e. £36. I called them to confirm. They said that the previous manager FORGOT to put on the discount to match my £30 rates (FORGOT, REALLY!??) and told me that it will be fixed before I am charged. BUT Today, I am charged full amount without any adjustment!!! This is really bad!
I have had a really terrible experience with VIRGIN MEDIA customer service so far!! and no help as of yet!! I am lost what to do, how to get my refund and how to fix it for the rest of my contract!!! Please Help!
