Activation date past for new package - no further updates

Good morning,

Last Tuesday on the 5th, I selected on Myvirginmedia the upgrades tab and entered into a new 18 month contract which upgraded the wifi speed and added an O2 sim to become a volt package. The activation date in the email was the 8th September (Friday). We are now on Tuesday 12th and I still havn't had any confirmation the sim is being sent or upgrade being processed. 

Please could you confirm if this is normal and been proccessed?
