Activation Fee

Hi

When renewing my contract I was forced to take a TV package despite having no interest in it, otherwise my monthly bill was goign to double. Which is ridiculous in itself.

This forced me to pay a £35 activation fee however I was promised this would be waived.

I have been charged this £35 regardless. Will this be refunded?

Thank you so much for your post and welcome to the community forums, it's great to have you here. 

I am so sorry to hear that you are unhappy with your recent package change. Sometimes bundles can come with discounts that can make them more affordable, but you can still discuss packages that are without the TV service, thought they may be more expensive depending on what is on offer. 

Can I ask how the new deal was agreed? Was this over the phone or messenger? Did you receive an email at all stating the new deal and if so did this show that the activation fee was waived?
