Account update but no email confirmation

Hi today I managed to negotiate a change to my bill to make it more affordable but I have not received a confirmation e-mail. Perhaps I am jumping the gun slightly as it was arranged at roughly 5.00 p.m. The reason I am slightly concerned is because usually these things take a matter of minutes to process. I have checked what I can of my virgin media online account and can see the original contract I signed on the 31st but no update d information. Please could someone assist me with this issue, thanks for  your time.
