Good afternoon, for security and data protection reasons we cannon give you your account number by message or phone, but when contacting customer services there is an option if you do not know your account number or enter an incorrect one twice and it will put you though to confirm your identity by other methods.
you may find the account number on most direct letter correspondence or any e-mails or Old paper bills, of any paperwork an engineer would have left after a visit.

From what @JasonHill has said there should be options on the phone to get through without your account number. Are you posting on here from your VM broadband account? If so then the forum team should be able to trace your account from your VM IP address.
My setup: V6 TV box, M350 Fibre broadband with Hub 3 in modem mode connected to a Netgear R7000 router. Telewest/VM user since 2001.
