Account closure - no email

Last week, after several attempts and many hours wasted, I managed to get someone at Virgin Media to initiate the cancellation of my VM account. Apparently, I was due to receive email confirmation of the account closure request within 24 hours. However, this has not arrived. I HAVE received an email telling me that I'll be receiving prepaid packaging to return my Superhub etc, but nothing about the closure of the account. Is it worth bothering to sit on the online chat for 5 hours again to confirm my account is definitely being closed now, or should I just assume it is being closed? I have kept screenshots of every conversation I've had with these people as I know how useless they are.

Thank you for your post. 

 

I have just taken a quick look over your account, there doesn't seem to be a cancelation in place on the account. 

 

I am going to drop you a PM so that I can look further into this.
