Account Transfer - Can’t Register My Virgin Media Account

Hi, 

I took over the account from an ex flatmate who has since moved out. Mid May I received the confirmation email that the transfer was successful and end of May an email my first bill explained and  that I should log into my Virgin Media account to check my first bill. 

problem is I can’t. When I try to register it still shows me the email address of my ex flatmate. Since we only lived briefly together I do not have any contact with them.

Is there any way customer support can reset the email on the account and change it to mine so that I can log in?

Welcome to our Community Forum and sorry to hear you can't log into your online account. I'm afraid we won't be able to transfer the old online account details to your new one unless your ex-flatmate contacts us to pass security and gives consent to the transfer. Once we have this consent however we'll be able to do this for you.
