Absolute shambles since moving home

Moved home in July and contacted to take virgin media with me. I was in a contract with a welcome discount taking my package down to £36pm and when moving home I received the standard emails, one of which with a new contract and term date but the email said to disregard this as it's only a formality.  My account was closed and a new one opened and the welcome discount removed meaning my bill was £62pm. Ok have contacted every month since moving and have been assured in every WhatsApp conversation that this is it finally sorted and my bill along with all future bills will be amended to the lower price. I was billed £62 last month and after contacting was told that my next bill would be only £10 as I was overcharged. My next bill says £36 instead of £10 and future bills say £62 again. I was told I could take this further if more than £10 leaves my account on the next billing date. I did not agree to a new contract date either so I will be cancelling as soon as I can. Absolute shambles and I have wasted so much time trying to sort this. Nobody seems to have a clue how to carry out a simple task on a computer to correct this. I can no longer log into my old account but I can assure you I will be leaving on the original contract end date and will not be paying any early exit fees on a new contract that i didn't consent to.
