My address then was I arranged to disconnect with yourselves before I left the property in July 2015 the equipment was left for you to collect, then as far as I was aware it was all done dusted I was sent the final bill that was all paid.i have just found out there is a ccj against me . How do I get this removed, it’s completely incorrect

Re: 5 year old account ccj applies after I left property

Hello

I understand what you problem is there are only a few ways of removing a CCJ

  1. Paying the CCJ in full within a month
  2. Paying the CCJ in full after 30 days
  3. Setting aside the judgement
  4. Waiting 6 years
  5. Amending incorrect details, this has too be done with the credit agency that it is listed with.

You can find more  info at https://www.creditfix.co.uk/blog/how-to-remove-a-ccj-from-your-credit-file-what-you-need-to-know/

Regards Mike

"I left the property in July 2015 the equipment was left for you to collect"

So you didn't return it. How were they meant to collect it if you had moved out? Did it get returned?
If not it would have been billed to you as agreed in your contract and if you find;t pay that then the CCJ is correct and won't be removed
